Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026

PhotoSweep runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account and no tracking.

What the app accesses

To do its job, PhotoSweep asks for permission to your photo library (via Apple's PhotoKit). It uses this access only to show your videos, screenshots, and photos, report their sizes, and delete the items you select. This all happens locally on your iPhone. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or sent to us or anyone else.

Data we collect

None. PhotoSweep has no servers, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers, or usage data.

Deletions

When you delete media, iOS moves it to Recently Deleted, where it remains for 30 days before iOS removes it. iOS shows its own confirmation before any deletion. PhotoSweep cannot access or clear other apps' data or “System Data” — Apple's sandbox prevents this, and the app never attempts it.

Third parties

PhotoSweep includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. No data is shared with third parties because no data is collected.

Children

PhotoSweep does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes
